Overview
We built a modern, conversion-focused website for Diwan Al-Saraya that showcases dishes beautifully and makes mobile ordering effortless. The experience reduces friction (fewer steps, clearer choices) and reflects the restaurant’s brand through photography, typography, and color.
Preliminary Design / Layouts
- Clean home with a clear “Start Order” call-to-action.
- Visual menu with high-quality images, category filters, and instant search.
- Dish detail page with price, options/add-ons (sizes, sauces, paid extras) and instant price updates.
- Sticky/quick cart for fast review and fewer drop-offs.
- Short checkout flow:
Add to Cart → Review → Contact/Address → Payment method → Confirm.
- Responsive RTL layout optimized for thumbs, spacing, and legibility on mobile.
The Challenge
- Highlight brand and dishes without clutter.
- Organize a large menu with multi-level add-ons and size logic.
- Keep the first-time ordering journey very short on mobile, even on slow networks.
- Provide a simple back-office to add/edit dishes, prices, and options quickly.
- Improve speed and SEO for better visibility and faster page loads.
